COLOSSEUM Entertainment Center, which will be achieved in the Stavrapol region of Russia, will be built on an area of 80.000m² and will consist of a closed area of 42.187 m²; It is a superstructure project which will include facilities such as Shopping Center, Hotel, Aquapark and Concert Area.
While conceiving the building form, it was taken into consideration that the building is unique and special in the region, appeals to all the near and distant environment, and is noticed from all fronts. While determining the shell structure of the building, a form consisting of sloping roofs was adopted for the project, by highlighting the waterslide form, which is one of the main objects of the Aquapark. In addition, a compact structure has been designed by taking into account the relationship between climate conditions and functions.
When we consider the character of the building, a modern, environmentally friendly and street-like architecture comes to the fore. Design processes have been completed with a concept where green areas are abundant, following up-to-date architectural technologies and forms, and consisting of areas interlaced with the environment.
When we examine the functions;
Shopping Center : 20.277 m2
In the basement floor of the 6 storey Shopping Center, planning has been made for large electronic stores and large markets. The 1st, 2nd and 3rd floors of the shopping mall include shops and stores, the 4th floor includes dining areas and the 5th floor includes cinema areas. During the design of the Shopping Center, we aimed to create closed and open commercial areas considering the relationship with the Aquapark, the hotel and the concert area.
Aquapark : 16.455 m2
Aquapark is designed as a high-rise building due to its architectural structure. There exist 6.500m² closed Aqupark area and 2.500m² open Aqupark area. The aquapark facade is the main character that constitute the waterslide form, which is the symbol of the function and the complex. For this reason, this form comes to the fore in the façade. Full and empty surfaces are designed on the facade to absorb natural light. The sloping roof, which starts from the ground and continues up to the roof of the aquapark, is conceived to be evaluated as a part of the Aquapark.
4 Star Hotel : 4.800 m2
The hotel building which is a tourism building , is consisting of 6 floors, where each floor has an area of 800m² therefore with a total of 4.800m² closed area, with a 240 beds capacity, and having 80 rooms. Since the hotel customers are also intended to be aquapark users, the transition between the hotel and the Aquapark is also planned.
SPA : 1.000 m2
The SPA center planned on the 2nd floor of the Aqupark section is planned to serve both Hotel and Aquapark customers. Incoming customers will be directed to other areas in line with their demands after being hosted in the spacious reception hall designed in accordance with the Concept. In the Spa Center; there are massage rooms, therapy pools, Vitamin bar, Fitness, Turkish bath, Finnish bath, Saunas, Skin care rooms, steam baths, Jacuzzis and relaxation areas.
